NRBC Bank PLC has appointed Md Shaheen Howlader as deputy managing director (DMD) and chief business officer, effective from June 24, 2026.

Prior to joining NRBC Bank PLC, Shaheen was serving at NRB Bank PLC as deputy managing director (business), according to a press release.

With nearly three decades of experience in the banking industry, he brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to his new role.

He started his banking career at National Bank Limited as a probationary officer in October 1995.

Throughout his distinguished career, he has held various key positions at National Bank Limited, Prime Bank PLC, Modhumoti Bank PLC, and NRB Bank PLC, making significant contributions to business growth, strategic development, and operational excellence.

Shaheen completed his postgraduate degree in demography at the University of Dhaka and earned an MBA in banking and insurance from the same university.
