The organisation called on the relevant authorities to take immediate action to stop the campaign and hold those responsible accountable.

“We also urge citizens, political leaders, media, and civil society to reject online violence and promote respectful dialogue. Attacks on an elected member of parliament not only harm the individual concerned but also damage the dignity of the National Parliament and democratic institutions,” it said.
