Directed by Tanvir Nahid Khan, Laili Majnu returns in a University of Dhaka production inspired by Dawlat Wazir Bahram Khan’s medieval Bangla retelling. The staging follows Qays and Laili through love, confinement, and loss, where personal devotion collides with social restraint, culminating in a tale of enduring separation.
