A potter dips the rim of a finished earthen water pitcher into paint to give it a deeper shade of brown in Godagari upazila, Rajshahi. With summer setting in, demand for these pitchers has risen in rural areas as they help keep water cool. Potters sell them for Tk 150 to Tk 200, although market prices are allegedly higher.
