The TIB executive director said the International Anti-Corruption Conference is held every two years. This year’s conference will be held in the Dominican Republic. Only three Asian countries -- Malaysia, Thailand and Korea -- have hosted the event so far, he added.

“We think 2028 is the right time to hold this conference in Bangladesh. The prime minister has agreed in principle. If the cabinet gives consent, Bangladesh will try to host it,” he said.
