“An accurate and transparent list must be prepared by identifying the actual affected farmers. Based on this list, financial assistance will be provided to the farmers for the next three months,” the statement quoted him as saying.

Disaster Management and Relief Minister Asadul Habib Dulu and Agriculture, Fisheries and Livestock Minister Aminur Rashid Yasin were present at the meeting.

Among the MPs from the region, Deputy Speaker Kayser Kamal, State Minister for Textiles and Jute Shariful Alam, Osman Faruk, Fazlur Rahman, Lutfozzaman Babar, Kamruzzaman Kamrul, Nurul Islam, Kalim Uddin Milon, and Mohammad Kayser Ahmad were present.
