there were no updates regarding further arrests in the case. Earlier, on Wednesday, a Cumilla court granted a three-day remand for Hafizur, who is one of the three suspects in the case.

At the court premises, Tonu’s father, Yaar Hossain, alleged that the IO Tarikul was not sharing any information regarding the remand of the accused.

Responding to the allegation, Tarikul said Tonu’s father could not come to the court on time and later also failed to show up at the prison. He added that he would arrange time to speak with Tonu’s father later.
