Rehena Akter holds her one‑year‑old son Farhan Ibne Faruk, who was admitted to the Infectious Diseases Hospital, Mohakhali, with measles on Wednesday. According to DGHS, 11 more patients died with measles‑like symptoms in the 24 hours till 8:00am yesterday, taking the number of suspected measles deaths to 209. As of yesterday, 42 patients have died from confirmed measles cases.
