The Dabir-Sohani-Suraiya Foundation awards scholarships to meritorious and financially challenged students of the Faculty of Business Studies at Dhaka University on April 19 at the Professor Dr Abdullah Farouk Multipurpose Hall. Prof Mahmood Osman Imam, dean of the Faculty of Business Studies, DU; and Chowdhury Mohammed Hanif Shoeb, president of the foundation and managing director of Salma Group, handed over the scholarships. Foundation vice presidents Salma Chowdhury and Md Arfan Ali were, among others, present.
