Sandbars have emerged across much of the western bank of the Padma River in the Aibadh area of Rajshahi city, making it appear fragmented into narrow canals. Boat movement has come to a halt, while the Water Development Board has begun work beneath the city protection embankment ahead of the monsoon. The photo was taken recently.
