Moshiur Rahman Khan Samrat -- widely known as “Psycho Samrat” -- who is accused of a series of brutal killings in Savar, has died.

He was declared dead around 7:30am on Monday at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).

Confirming the matter, Savar Model Police Station Inspector (Operations) Md Helal Uddin said the prison authorities informed them that Samrat, who had been at Dhaka Central Jail in Keraniganj, suddenly experienced severe chest pain early Monday.
