Members of Bangladesh Mahila Parishad organised a protest rally in front of the Jatiya Press Club yesterday, demanding action and accountability over the increasing incidents of rape, murder and violence against women and girls across the country. They urged the government to take immediate steps to curb such acts of gender-based violence and ensure security and safety for women and children.
