Ameer of Islami Andolan Bangladesh Mufti Syed Rezaul Karim yesterday urged voters to use their voting power to bring real change, saying the country has failed to achieve peace or true liberation under the existing political system since independence.

“The conventional democratic system has failed to deliver peace or freedom over the past 54 years,” he said, urging voters to prioritise political ideology over alliances in the upcoming national election.
