Inspired by the spirit of the Language Movement, the University of Dhaka’s Teacher–Student Centre (TSC) hosts the annual film festival Amar Bhashar Cholochitro. Organised by the DU Film Society, this year’s edition will run from February 3 to 8.

The festival will screen 23 films, including 20 feature-length and three short films, featuring both new and older works. One film will be shown on the opening day, followed by four screenings daily at 10 am, 12:30 pm, 3:30 pm and 6:30 pm.

Ahmed Hasan Sunny’s Ekhane Rajnoitik Alap Joruri ,starring Imtiaz Barshon, will be screened at 6:30 pm as the opening film.
