The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) raided the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) again yesterday, their second visit in about a month.

Similar to the previous visit, the ACC is investigating alleged irregularities in the selection process for the Third Division Cricket League.

However, a different ACC team carried out the latest operation. They are also examining BCB’s constitution and other financial irregularities.

The ACC team, led by Assistant Director Raju Ahmed, visited the BCB office around noon and stayed until the afternoon.

“Today’s operation focused on irregularities in the Third Division selection process,” Raju Ahmed informed the media. “Based on the allegations, we collected and reviewed documents and spoke to relevant individuals. We will be taking further statements as well,” he added.
