He further said the younger generation is angry at those judges who sentenced the innocent to death.

“We are in a generational conflict,” Hasnat said. “The older generation wants to force the younger generation into submission, but the youth who fought against oppression will never give in. The fight against oppression will continue, and the youth will never compromise.”

Regarding the political activities of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, Hasnat said, “It is not an active [political] organisation; rather a platform to unite all the anti-fascist forces, including Chhatra Dal, Chhatra Shibir, and Adhikar Parishad, and to serve as a symbol of national unity.”
