Bangladesh Academy of Sciences (BAS) Professor Emeritus Dr Sultan Ahmed Choudhury Gold Medal Award Ceremony was held at National Science and Technology Complex, Dhaka on Saturday. Dr M Zahid Hasan, Eugene Higgins Professor at Princeton University, USA, was present as the chief guest. Zakia Rouf Chowdhury, daughter of Sultan Ahmed Chowdhury and executive vice chairperson of Rangs Group, was present as the trustee representative. Emeritus Prof AK Azad Chowdhury, president of BAS, presided over the programme. Prof Haseena Khan, secretary of BAS, along with two other trustee representatives were also present.
