Sheikh Fazilatunneessa Mujib Memorial KPJ Specialised Hospital in Gazipur has started a “Liver Clinic” on its premises in collaboration with Dr Rela Institute and Medical Centre, Chennai, India.

This initiative looks to ensure international standard treatment of liver diseases in Bangladesh.

A memorandum of understanding was signed between the centres yesterday in this regard at KPJ Specialised Hospital, a 250-bed multidisciplinary tertiary healthcare center located at Kashimpur, Gazipur.

The establishment of the facility is being partonised by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Memorial Trust and KPJ Healthcare Berhad, Malaysia, said senior officials of the hospitals at an event.
