AL Presidium Member Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya said, “The dreams of those who are conspiring to foil the election will never come true. The election will be held under the Sheikh Hasina government and in a fair manner.”

“If Sheikh Hasina is not re-elected as prime minister, it will not be possible to implement the Ganga Water-sharing Treaty. Foreign pressure and conspiracies cannot weaken the premier,” said Dilip Barua, general secretary of Bangladesher Samyabadi Dal.

The leaders at the rally reiterated that the alliance will be on the streets with continuous programmes to prevent any conspiracy of the BNP-Jamaat.
