The admission test of Dhaka University for undergraduate programmes under the arts, law and social sciences unit for the 2022-23 academic session will be held tomorrow.

According to the DU authorities, 42 aspirants will vie for a seat as already 1,22,848 candidates have applied for the 2,934 seats. The exam will begin at 11:00am and end at 12:30pm.

Admission seekers will be allowed to enter their respective centres till 10:30am.

The entrance test will be held in Dhaka and seven divisional cities. In the 100-mark question, examinees will have to face a set of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) for 60 marks and a written part worth 40 marks.

The examinees cannot use any electronic device, including calculators, during the test, as per instructions.

In a press release yesterday, the DU authorities urged the guardians of the examinees to use only the Mohsin Hall field, Suhrawardy Udyan and Central Library of the University for parking cars on the test day.

The next entrance test for the science unit is on May 12 and the business studies unit on May 13.

The admission test started with the examination of the Faculty of Fine Arts on April 29.

The admission test was held at the university’s Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Social Sciences buildings. A total of 7,097 students vied for 130 seats.
