Customers buying sweetmeats from a store in Khulna city’s Shahid Hadis Park area yesterday. The prices of various sweetmeats have increased by Tk 20 to Tk 30 per kg with the recent price hike of sugar. Trading Corporation of Bangladesh data showed that the prices of sugar have risen 22 per cent to Tk 110-Tk 115 per kg from Tk 90-Tk 95 a month ago.
