The Kuakata beach has always been a favourite vacation spot for locals of Patuakhali. But with the opening of the Padma bridge, scores of people from around the country are also now able to easily witness all the beauty this tourist spot has to offer. Apart from the sea in all its glory, Kuakata has much more. Tourists often choose to visit places like Kauar Char, Lal Kakrar Char, Gangamati reserved forest, Jhau Bon, Shutki Palli, Lebur Char and Tin Nodir Mohona – all of which have their own attractions and specialities.

The beach itself hosts a number of seafood and handicraft shops for tourists to not only enjoy the delicacies but also buy mementos for themselves.
