THE RUDDY BUDDY … The Ruddy Kingfisher, named after its bright red colour, is found across East and Southeast Asia. In Bangladesh, however, it is rare outside the Sundarbans. The little birds, which migrate to warmer countries during winter, typically inhabit thick jungles and rainforests.
