Mejbaur Rahman Sumon’s directorial debut “Hawa” was released in 24 halls, on July 29. The film is ceaselessly breaking records all over the country.

According to the manager of Jessore’s Monihar cinema hall, Ziaul Islam Mithu, the film has earned the highest grossing record at Monihar cinema hall in Jessore. He also asserted that the movie earned more than BDT 3 lakh in revenue from the cinema hall yesterday. Moreover, this is a record, as in the last 5 years, no other movie has been able to earn such revenue in a single day at the Monihar theatre, confirmed Mithu.

Jazz Multimedia in its press release has cited that “Hawa” is the highest-selling movie after “Boss-2”, which was released on Eid 2017.
