TREASURE FROM THE TRENCHES... A crowd gathers around an electronic device shop set up on the footpath and surrounding empty spaces near Janata Tower at the capital’s Karwan Bazar. The sellers collect second-hand mobile phones, chargers and a range of other electronic devices from scrap shops all over the city. These are then sold to their customers, most of whom live on limited incomes and are elated to shop at a bargain. This photo was taken yesterday.
