The laughing face of a youth emerging from a pile of jute for this photograph was captured at the banks of Barishal’s Arial Kha river. The golden fibre is brought to the port at Arjikalikapur village on trawlers, from where they’re taken to warehouses by workers for Tk 500 per trip. This photo was taken on Thursday.
