Novoair in a clarification to the report titled “Sloppy Biman stays grounded,” published in The Daily Star on 28 June said the airlines’ base fare was Tk 2,500, not Tk 2000 as the report claimed, since the private airlines resumed its operation on the domestic routes from June 1.

The clarification also said its Managing Director Mofizur Rahman didn’t make the comment that ticket prices are not the biggest concern at the moment.
