Hosts Bangladesh will be desperate to secure the series when they take on Zimbabwe in the second of the three-match ODI series at Sylhet International Stadium today. The match is scheduled to start at 1:00pm.

Following the 169-run win – Bangladesh’s biggest in ODIs -- in the first ODI on Sunday Bangladesh will be oozing with confidence and will look to continue the right kind of attitude to improve their skills.

It will not just be about winning the game against a weaker and less experienced opposition side ranked 12th in the world in ODIs; instead head coach Russell Domingo’s charges will look to display a commanding approach to show the difference between the two sides.

Things have not gone well for the Tigers since the eighth-place finish in the 10-team ICC World Cup in England last year, which was followed by a 3-0 whitewash at the hands of Sri Lanka. It will be important for the Tigers to have the right frame of mind and to have the right processes in place, keeping the future in mind.

A win in the second game today can make the occasion special as it will be the 100th victory for veteran batsman Mushfiqur Rahim, who has been playing ODIs for Bangladesh since August 2006.
