This water bus, meant for carrying passengers to Kuakata tourist spot in Patuakhali’s Kalapara from different areas in the coastal region including the Sundarbans, Char Bijoy, Sonarchar, Fakirhat, Laldia, Fatrarban, and Payra sea port, saw its maiden journey on Friday. Introduction of the fast moving watercraft, with the capacity to carry a hundred people, aims at encouraging more people to visit the picturesque areas, said Hossain Amir, initiator of the project.
