Two youths, wearing sandals, walk on the pedestal of Central Shaheed Minar while others either take selfies or remain engaged in chitchats. Though it is strictly prohibited by the High Court to do so in order to protect sanctity of the memorial for language martyrs, few apparently show the due respect, in addition to lax monitoring by the authorities concerned.
