Kaur first Indian woman to hit T20 century

Captain Harmanpreet Kaur became the first woman from her country to smash a T20 international century on Friday as India defeated New Zealand by 34 runs on the opening day of the Women's World TwentyZO.

Kaur battled cramps to lift India to a winning 194-5 at the Guyana National Stadium with Jemimah Rodrigues hitting 59.

She finally fell for 103 off 51 balls having hit eight sixes and seven boundaries.

In reply, the White Ferns could only reach 160-9 despite opener Suzie Bates providing a solid foundation with a top score of 67. -AFP

Imam cleared to rejoin team Pakistani opener Imam-ul-Haq has been cleared to rejoin the team after undergoing scans on his injury on Friday.

"Imam ul Haq all scans clear. He joined the team and will remain under observation of team physio," the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) tweeted.

Imam was forced to retire during the second one-day international between Pakistan and New Zealand in Abu Dhabi on Friday after being hit by a short ball.

According to a source in the PCB, the doctors have advised Imam to rest for the next 72 hours.

Manchester Qty manager Pep Guardiola has laughed off a suggestion his coaching is "better than sex".

The comment was reportedly made by Paris Saint-Germain defender Dani Alves, who is currently promoting a documentary about his time at Barcelona playing under Guardiola.

Before Sunday's Premier League home match against Manchester United, a reporter asked Guardiola for his reaction at a press conference, prompting him to respond: "I prefer the sex - by far."

Smith, Warner play together for first time since ban

Banned opener David Warner shared a home field with Steve Smith for the first time since the balltampering scandal Saturday, but he didn't last
