Honourable Speaker of Bangladesh Parliament, Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury inaugurated the 23rd National Conference of Bangladesh Group Theatre Federation on May 4, 2018 at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy. It is a two-day-long conference that will take place from May 4-5 at the academy.

Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury was the chief guest of the event. The event started with the welcome speech of Akhtaruzzaman, Secretary General, Bangladesh Group Theatre

Nomination papers were found in the first day of the event. The list of the ultimate candidates will be released at 11.20 PM on May, 4, 2018. Votes will be accepted from the morning on 5 May. At 3 PM, the vote counting will take place. After that, results will be announced.
