Rab yesterday submitted a supplementary charge sheet in a case filed over the seizure of a barrel of cocaine in a container at Chittagong Port in 2015.

The names of businessperson Nur Mohammad and one Mostaque Ahmed Khan were included in the latest charge sheet.

Additional Superintendent of Police Mohiuddin Faruquee of Rab-7, also investigation officer of the case, placed the charge sheet before a Chittagong court, said additional deputy commissioner

(prosecution) Nirmalendu Bikash Chakraborty.

The name of Nur Mohammad was dropped from the charge sheet submitted by detectives on November 19,2015 although he was accused in the first information report (FIR) filed with Bandar Police Station on June 27,2015.

The detectives had accused eight persons - Prime Hatchery Manager

Colam Mostafa Sohel, a security company official Mehedi Alam, a foreign company consultant Mostafa Kamal, Cosco Shipping Agency Manager AKM Azad, Mondol Group Commercial Executive Atiqur Rahman, a clearing and forwarding agent firm official Saiful Islam, two expatriates Fazlur Rahman and Bakul Mia - in their charge sheet.

Rab accused the eight and the other

two in the supplementary charge sheet.

Of the 10, Mostaque, Fazlur and Bakul are on the run while the rest in jail, said ADC Nirmalendu.

On May 8, 2015, the container having 107 barrels of sunflower oil arrived at Chittagong Port from Bolivia via Uruguay. The name of Khan Jahan Ali Ltd, a Chittagong-based importing firm, was mentioned as the consignee of the container.
