Mozammel Haque and Arif Rehman were elected president and general secretary of Bogra Press Club on Tuesday from the AL-backed panel.

Of 167 voters, 158 cast their votes in the election for 19 posts while Mozammel Haque ofThe Daily Karatoa and Safiul Azam Kamoi of the photo service Focus Bangla were elected president and office secretary respectively unopposed from Awami League-backed Sammilita Oikya panel. Newly elected General Secretary Arif Rehman works for SA TV.

AL-backed panel wn 17 posts while pro-BNP-Jamaat Journalists' Panel got two posts - a vice-president and treasurer.
