Adil Hossain Noble is known for his versatility; an actor, a model, and a full time professional in the corporate sector, he has maintained a presence in the showbiz industry while excelling at his job. Such a busy person therefore makes sure his time off is taken valuably, and today he shares with The Daily Star fun stories of how he spends his weekends and vacations.

How do you usually spend your weekends?

Noble: Weekends are my favourite days! I start looking forward to it midweek, as this is the time I get to spend time with my loved ones and have good food. I also make up for lost sleep. Sometimes I do have work schedule during those days; like this coming weekend I have a shooting. During this time, I always feel feverish on the day before, much like a child before exams! But I always ensure one of the days during the weekend is free so that I can be with family.

What was the last movie you saw? Noble: Since I am so busy, we only get to watch movies when we are out of the country. My wife is a movie buff but even she rarely gets the time as she is

busy with work. The last movies we watched were "Jack Reacher: Never Go Back" which stars Tom Cruise, my favourite Hollywood actor. We also watched "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil," which we enjoyed as well.

Out of all the places you have traveled to, which is your favourite?

Noble: I have visited many places at

home and abroad, but Cox's Bazaar will always be my favourite destination. I find it very relaxing there. Recently, we visited the Rocky Mountains in Canada, and it was a breathtaking experience. You have recently traveled to Europe; what were some of your most memorable experiences?

Noble: When traveling abroad, I

immensely enjoy meeting fellow Bangladeshis around the globe who work hard for their families back home. This summer we visited three countries -- Spain, Switzerland and Italy. When in Italy, we did not enjoy our hotel stay at Venice; when traveling to Rome, I booked a hotel last-minute through a hotel-booking website and I was unsure about it, but it turned out to be a most pleasant surprise. It was a quaint place that served authentic Italian cuisine, called Sugo d'oro. There we were greeted by a waiter who was Bengali-Italian. He was a vibrant fellow who was excited upon recognising me. We had some amazing grilled food and he later informed us that the chief chef was also Bangladeshi! The chef led me into the expansive kitchens of the restaurant and was quite flustered as to what to cook for me. I told him I loved authentic Italian, and he served us the most delicious seafood pasta. My daughter, a foodie, was very happy. I would urge my fellow Bangladeshis to visit Sugo d'oro whenever they have a chance to visit Rome.

If you had the power to change something in the country, what would it be? Noble: I would like people to be more considerate towards others, and it would enrich all areas of life. For example, traffic etiquette here is quite poor, but if people were considerate and gave each other space, it would restore a lot of order and peace on the roads. I hope that we see better times in the coming generation.
