The government has lunched three digit short code "999" as national help desk service to ensure emergency response to fulfill citizens' needs.

The ICT division has developed apps and website under its pilot programme to introduce the service, where police, fire and ambulance services will be given in case of emergencies, said an official release yesterday.

Finance Minister AMA Muhith and State Minister for ICT Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak launched the apps and website at a function in the capital.
