Two members of an alleged criminal gang were found dead near Thanchi-Alikadom road in the district's Alikadom upazila yesterday.

One of the dead is Singlok Mro, 21, of Thanchi's Aung Goaing Para. The name of another victim, aged around 23, who belongs to Tripura community, could not be known immediately.

On information, army personnel went to Tero mile area around 6:00am and recovered the two bullet-hit bodies.

One pistol, one bullet, four cartridges, two knives and four mobile phone sets were also recovered from the deceased's possession, said Lt Col Sarwar, Alikadom zone commander of the army.
