The officers-in-charge (OC) of two police stations in Rajshahi were closed yesterday.

They are Aminur Rahman, OC of Bagha Police Station and Alamgir Hossain, OC of Chaghat Police Station. Ali Mahmud and Nibaron Chandra Burman replaced them respectively, said Nisarul Arif, Superintendent of Police in Rajshahi. They OCs were closed for administrative dynamism, he added. However, sources inside Rajshahi district police said they were closed for their alleged involvement in patronising drug peddlers.
