A musical on Liberation War titled "Shadhinota'r Sangram" was held at Shawkat Osman Memorial auditorium of Sufia Kamal National Public Library in Dhaka on March 31. Cultural organization Boinhishikha arranged the event where artistes of Manjir Centre for Dance Culture, Kolkata, India performed in the production, directed by Malancha Ghosh. Prior to staging the musical, artistes of Boinhishikha presented dances at the venue. Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre assisted in organising the event.

Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor, attended the event as chief guest while Sandip Chakrabarty, Deputy High Commissioner of Indian High Commission in Dhaka and noted theatre and cultural personality Ramendu Majumdar were present as special guests. Rupu Khan, general secretary of Boinhishikha, delivered welcome address. President of Boinhishikha and noted cultural personality Golam Kuddus presided over the programme.
