The process of forming a wage board for the electronic media is ongoing, said Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu yesterday.

He was talking to reporters after attending the closing ceremony of the three-day Chittagong Eid E-Commerce Fair at Chittagong Jila Kria Sangstha Gymnasium.

Regarding main opposition BNP's allegation of manipulating the Cazipur City Corporation polls, the minister said, "Whoever has complaints regarding the election can go to the Election Commission with relevant evidence. The commission will than take action as per the law."

He further said the country's people would always remember the incumbent government for introducing mass people to information technology and for taking initiatives to bring the war criminals to book.

Asked whether the trial of war criminals would be concluded within the term of the incumbent government, he said, "The tribunal is conducting the trial, not the government."
