Leaders of Gazipur district BNP have complained to party chief Khaleda Zia about the involvement of four central leaders in grouping and internal feuds.

BNP Standing Committee Member ASM Hannan Shah, former state minister MA Mannan, district unit President Fazlul Haque Milon and central leader Hasan Uddin Sarkar are forming different unit committees according to choices of their own without considering the party interest, they said.

The leaders were exchanging views with the BNP chairperson at her Gulshan office in the city last night.

Khaleda asked all to work together as the party was preparing for an antigovernment movement, meeting sources said.

She directed the leaders to reconstitute the expired committees of different units of the district, warning that action would be taken if anyone was found guilty of indiscipline.

BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, among others, was present at the meeting.
