Artistes of Suratirhta Sangeet Bidyalaya at Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) campus observed its annual cultural programme at Shilpacharya Zainul Abedin Auditorium of BAU on Friday evening. It was the 22nd annual programme of the cultural organisation.

Over 50 students of the music academy rendered chorus, solos and performed dances at the evening.

Vice-chancellor of the university, Professor Dr. Rafiqul Hoque, inaugurated the programme as the chief guest. Among others, BAU Proctor, Professor MA Salam, was also present

President of the organisation, Professor Dr. Muntaqinur Rahman, presided over the inaugural session.

The speakers said that the students of today are the future nationbuilders and so they need to be associated with the traditional cultural practices.
