Clashes between Dhaka University (DU) students and bus employees left at least five people injured yesterday evening. The students ransacked over 10 buses and put barricades for about an hour at the city's Fulbaria.

The injured include two students of DU Amar Ekushey Hall and three bus employees.

Officer-in-Charge Rezaul Karim of Shahbagh Police Station said the clash erupted as employees of a bus on Abdullahpur to Gulistan route misbehaved with a student returning to DU from Uttara.
