On the occasion, Jasim foundation and different socio-cultural organisations have chalked out elaborate progrmmes at the ancestral home at Gobindapur village in Sadar upazila of Faridpur. They will pay tributes to the poet by placing wreaths at the mazar of the poet located on the premises of the poet's home. A month-long "Jasim Palli Mela” will be inaugurated at Jasim Udayan at the site of poet's ancestral home.
