This will be model slash actor Apurba's first Eid as a married man, making for even more festivity. He will share the joys of Eid with his family in Dhaka this year. Apurba admits that his wife will brighten up the colours of Eid. His plans include going on a long drive with his wife, with music playing on the car stereo as winds swish past them. He has not yet decided where to go, which will only be fixed on the night of Eid. Apurba confesses Eid is one his favorite times of the year.

As he is immersed in Kolkata films, actor Ferdous always has a hard time deciding on where to spend Eid each year. This year however is different, as the popular actor has wrapped up his Kolkata commitments to enjoy Eid festivities at Dhaka with his wife, child, mother and brother. Admitting that the arrival of his child has added spice to his Eid delight, Ferdous says its always hard to be away from his family on Eid because of his busy schedules.

Ferdous plans to go out with his wife and child this Eid; with the destination remaining unknown. Sometimes longtime friends come to visit the actor, and Ferdous plans to chat with them and enjoy Eid delicacies.

Spending time with the family during Eid is far better than being on one's own, abroad. That's why famous actress Tarin will spend this Eid at home in Dhaka with her loved ones.

Childhood Eids were however more special and joyous, she says with small things like new dresses and endless messing around adding brighter colours to the festival.

Tarin looks foward to new dresses and makeup to blend in with the colourful occasion. Special dishes will also be in the oven,

which the actress will share with her family.

The brightest aspect of Eid to Tarin is getting together with everyone, as the chance for casual 'addas' don't come so often.

Roaming around during Eid will not be on her routine of the day, but Tarin will visit her friends' house to spend time doing some leisurely chatting and feasting.

Popular actor Mosharraf Karim is all set to celebrate Eid, in England this year. "Though I prefer to observe such occasions with near and dear ones in the country, I have a packed schedule of 15 days, shooting for the TV

play ‘Colour of Cambridge’ in England," he says.

“As the Eid celebrations will coincide with my schedule, it will be a different experience observing the day with friends and also going for sightseeing. Celebrating Eid with the expats would be a welcome change as well,” he said.

The 26 -episode play is written by Masum Reza and directed by Yousuf Hasan Arko.

“The director of the play, my co actress Golam Farida Chhonda and actor Jhuna Chowdhury will also accompany me,” added Mosharraf.

Although he had plans to visit his

native home in Barguna this Eid, actor Mir Sabbir will be forced to remain in the capital because of a busy shooting schedule. The actor however wishes to spend Qurbani Eid with his relatives in Barguna. Mir Sabbir has therefore settled to staying at his Dhanmondi residence and enjoy the festivities with family members. Sabbir plans to visit his in-laws at Ashulia the evening after Eid, and spend some family time there as well. As the actor grew up in a riverine region, Mir Sabbir's plans this Eid include boating on the waterways in Ashulia, just as in his childhood days.
