Germany team manager Oliver Bierhoff has confirmed they will go into Wednesday's World Cup semifinal showdown with Spain with an injury-free squad after fears that Sami Khedira and Cacau could miss out - but has lamented the loss ofThomas Muller.

Bierhoff declared that all the squad are fit for the clash in Durban, despite Khedira and Cacau training separately for the past two days.

Central defender Arne Friedrich, who had a foot problem, also sat out training on Monday but will be available to coach Joachim Low.

However, the major blow to the Germans is the loss of suspended forward Muller, who serves a one-match suspension for picking up a yellow card for handball against Argentina.

"The most important thing is for the coach to be able to pick from all the squad except for Muller," said Bierhoff, who believes Joachim Low can work around Muller's absence.

"In a tournament a team settles and so Thomas's absence is a little link in the chain missing and he has been outstanding," said the Germany team manager.

"The team have reacted admirably whenever key players have been missing," he said.

Low must decide who he will play in place of Muller, with Cacau, Piotr Trochowski and Mario Gomez all in the frame.
