Md Ashraf Ali, an educationist and senior teacher of Dhara High School of Haluaghat in Mymensingh, passed away due to a cardiac arrest at his residence on Sunday at the age of 58, says a press release.

He left behind his wife, one son and three daughters to mourn his death.

State Minister for Cultural Affairs Advocate Pramod Mankin and Swechchha Sebak League leader Sakhawat Hossain Kabir condoled his death. They also conveyed sympathy to members of the bereaved family and prayed for salvation of the departed soul.
