Anwarul Islam, Organising Secretary of Satkhira district Awami League (AL) and son ol Abdul Hamid of village Daluipur, passed away due tc a cardiac arrest at Kalaroa upazila health complex early morning yesterday at the age of 43.

Anwarul Islam, alsc incumbent chairman oi Deara union parishad (UP), was taken to Kalaroa upazila health complex due to a massive cardiac arrest on January 31 night.

He left behind his wife, twc sons and a daughter to mourn his death.

Satkhira AL Vice-president and Health and Family Welfare Minister Prof Dr AFM Ruhal Haque, President Engineer Sheikh Mujibui Rahman and General Secretary Alhaj Nazrul Islam, former member of legislative assembly Momtaz Ahmed and Kalaroa Upazila Chairman BM Nazrul Islam expressed profound shock at the sad demise of Anwarul Islam.

They also prayed for salvation of the departed soul.
