Indonesia's economy grew at an accelerated rate of 4.2 percent year on year in the third quarter, officials said Tuesday.

The spurt put Southeast Asia's biggest economy on course to achieve the government's forecasts of 4.3 percent growth this year, third only to China and India in the G20 club of rich and major developing countries.
