Carlo Ancelotti has conceded that he is an admirer of both Sergio Aguero and Alexandre Pato but the Chelsea manager does not expect to be making any new signings in the January transfer window, despite the suspension of the club's transfer ban.

The Court of Arbitration for Sport announced last week that the double transfer window ban imposed on the club by FIFA had been temporarily lifted while the case

revolving around Gael Kakuta's move from Lens to Chelsea in 2007 is settled.

That decision immediately led to speculation that Chelsea could be looking to stockpile talent in January in anticipation of a possible future ban, particularly with Didier Drogba, Salomon Katou. Michael Essien and John Obi Mikel due to travel to the African Nations Cup in January.

But while Ancelotti is an admirer of Aguero, who scored twice against Chelsea in the Champions League last week, and Pato, who played for the manager

at AC Milan last season, the Italian does not anticipate any new arrivals at Stamford Bridge.

"Aguero? /Ml teams follow young talent and he is certainly one of them, like Pato," said Ancelotti. "We have the problem that some players will leave for the African Nations Cup. However. 1 think that even in January we will remain as we are."

Chelsea were strongly linked with a move for Pato last summer and were also reported to have made a significant offer for Argentina international Aguero.
